Freshly cooked and good breakfast, quirky hotel.
Stunning location in a beach area so close to the pier and lanes, many grocery stores, restaurants and pubs, and Kemptown which has the best eateries and pubs. The rooms high standard, brand-new with coffee making facilities and separate shower, for instance. Well presented food for dinner and breakfast.

A Cozy Escape with Friendly Faces!
I enjoyed a lovely stay, greeted warmly by the staff. My room was comfortable and clean, perfect for a restful night. Be sure to indulge in the good breakfast. The variety is fantastic! A gentle stroll to the beach adds to the charm. Parking can be tricky, so plan ahead!

The units are budget with 3 single beds. The location is easy in a very very nice area, near to Royal Pavilion, Royal Theatre and the Lanes as well as sea front.
The bathroom was very small, I didn't like it.

It was claimed that the hotel had wireless internet but it didn't work for me in either my room or even the central dining room since though I connected ok it always had 'limited or no connectivity'. I overheard another two guests at different times asking hotel staff if the wireless internet was working. After the first day I bought a Vodaphone wireless stick for £30 which worked fine but cost me money I hadn't anticipated spending and left me rather more than disappointed. On one day there was no hot water at all from the evening thru' the next morning so I wound up having a cold shower. There were a few other minor gripes but having to spend £30 to get what I expected to be provided and was a specific requirement of booking was key.

Hotel well positioned for beach and town. Bar and dining areas very attractive and comfortable. Excellent breakfast - nicely cooked, good quality food and a good choice including vegetarian fry up and pancakes. Friendly staff.
Our room was at the top of the hotel - felt like 3 beds had been squashed into an attic space. Because of the layout, couldn't watch tv comfortably from anywhere in the room. Bathroom was adequate but small and shut behind folding doors with no lock.Seemed expensive compared to a Premier Inn type hotel which would offer a better standard of room for less money..

Charming Stay with Mixed Experiences
Our family enjoyed the spacious top floor room with fine rooftop views. The hotel bistro served good meals at reasonable prices. Be prepared for steep stairs and the search for nearby parking. A lovely getaway if you plan ahead for these quirks!
